Bestow Smoothie Ritual

A daily ritual to nourish your skin from within

The Ritual:

  • Set a reminder in your phone or calendar to make your mid-afternoon Bestow Smoothie Ritual. Get ahead of the blood-sugar drop!

  • Make your Bestow Smoothie (recipe below).

  • Pour it into a nice glass and sprinkle on some toppings.

  • Take a break for five minutes and sit and sip your smoothie slowly, savouring each mouthful.

  • Picture the abundance of nutrients entering your body and nourishing your skin.

  • Wash your blender and go about the rest of your afternoon with sustained energy.

INGREDIENTS

1 banana
150 ml of coconut water
100 ml of organic coconut milk or other plant based milk
1 cup of frozen or fresh mango
Half a ring of fresh pineapple (about 1cm thick) cut into chunks and extra to serve
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 medjool date
Juice of half a lemon
1 teaspoon of cardamom
1/2 a teaspoon of ground ginger or 1 cm of fresh ginger, peeled
1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 a teaspoon of turmeric
1 tablespoon of Bestow Beauty Plus Oil

METHOD

Add all ingredients to your blender, blend well and enjoy.
